Multi-Award Winning Singer/Entertainer Darren Williams is now sharing his wealth of knowledge and experience to teach and inspire students of all ages and skill levels to reach their full potential and goals.

Drawing on his “crossover” or “popera” vocal style, Darren’s techniques can be applied to various genres – From Pop through to Opera, Musicals, Rock, Country, R&B, Jazz, Folk, and just about everything in between…

Sharing the latest cutting-edge voice teaching techniques from his ongoing affiliation with New York Vocal Coaching Inc; Darren has a strong emphasis on increasing vocal range and maintaining vocal health. His approach to teaching could be described as “Vocal Cross Training”, giving strength and flexibility to all vocal registers including chest voice, head voice, and the highly sought after “mix” voice which is used in so much of today’s pop music and Broadway shows.

Darren works on each student’s individual needs, giving specific exercises to pinpoint trouble spots in each voice which can then be applied to repertoire, not just random “hit and miss” scales. Students can also learn performance skills such as stagecraft, song interpretation and presentation, microphone technique, audition techniques, harmonising and more…

Darren is a current member of NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) and Actor’s Equity USA.
